i got a 2ft us perc and a 55cm custom icemaster with crown, coloured notches and double reduction. both are 18.8's and 5mm w/ bistabil. the narrow bowl works best for me. their standard 18mm bowls are huge. i mean honestly, only folks who own a roor can even attempt packing a bowl that fat and it just ends up tasting like shit. the narrow bowl allows for more proper hits instead of smoking like a 14 yr old.
i highly recommend getting an extra diffuser(s) and bowl(s). you'd be surprised how easy to is to break and you can just swap out dirty ones for the clean when lazy. some folks clean their shit after every session. i wouldn't have any time to sleep if i did that. that being said, i'm generally smoking budder out of the .de piece and weed out of the perc. weed gets that shit so gross that i have to clean the perc all the time. the .de piece smells great. you almost want to drink the budder bong water.
costco has 99% iso for $8/4 bottles. also, oxycleaning it once in a while will get all the funk out. the long term stains and any minerals from your water.
those reusable plastic ice cubes work pretty good to avoid cube melt. but they aren't as crazy cold as real ice. but you don't get any water vapor from those plastic cubes which is nice. i use chopsticks to pull out the cubes if i'm not dumping out the bong. or if i just need cold cubes again. and the plastic ones are easy to clean, just put them in a ziplock and a quick rinse with iso.
