before i even called and asked about the iphone4, i threatened to cancel my contract (said i looked around wind,bell,telus and NOT ROGERS since they are part of fido)
then i told them what other providers were offering me and how my friends all renewed with fido and got this killer retention plan .
i showed them the plan everyone on here was getting and told them i would like to stay with fido IF they can offer me the same plan since i been with them for 5+ years (with a shitty ass plan) even though i had 1.3 years left i still threatend to cancel lol.
once i got the plan that i wanted, i asked if they had the iphone4 in stock and if they dident i just asked if they can save the plan i want with a reference number for that I can go to an apple store OR call retentions in the future and once they do have it in stock.. then i can just tell the person that i already have a agreement i would like activated with the purchase of my phone
preety much how it went within a 2 week span lol
if you dont mind me asking what is your current retentions plan? if dosent hurt to add 500mb if you dont already.. iphone4 with data is the shit!
i suggest if your retention plan isnt as good as the ones posted on here earlier, your better off threatening to cancel and try hustling your way into a better plan + phone
