again you guys are confusing resolution for better image quality and that's just not so there are many other factors even Sharpness isn't dependent solely on resolution

what it sounds like is you guys are just fanboys getting a rager (for no reason) no1 is saying the iphone4 screen sucks it is an improvement all im saying is its more than likely not the resolution

here's a really boring technical article you can read if you want http://www-personal.acfr.usyd.edu.au...hris_tisse.pdf

http://www.normankoren.com/Tutorials/MTF.html

there's a tonne of articles but i cant really find one short to the point other than that "distance, resolution, screen size" image i asked you guys to google

Here use this calculator (its what real theatre experts use)

Direct Link found on this page http://carltonbale.com/home-theater/...ter-calculator if you want to read about it

Input the specs of the Iphone 4 (960x640 500 lumens@max brightness) and it will tell you that you need to have the phone at MAX 5" to meet THX Specs; 10" for "Visual Acuity" from your face if you have 20/20 vision (Yes you can input your lvl of eyesight into the calculator) to be able to discern the RESOLUTION and yes if you had say 20/10 vision you would be able to discern the resolution benefits further away for Visual Acuity it would extend to 21.8" (much closer than an "arms length" unless you were a midget) having said this though i'll re-iterate resolution ≠ quality
