His contract won't be in effect till he plays 10 NHL regular season games if I'm not mistaken. I remember we did this with Bourdon (RIP
) I think on his rookie year. Went him back to his junior club which was Val-d'Or or Moncton after 9 games and his contract didn't count/kick in.
Anyways, Hodgson won't make an impact like Hall, Duchene, etc. for obvious reasons so there's no point in rushing him to get a roster spot because he's one of the best prospects out there.

Didn't Daniel have back surgery in the early portion of his career? Doesn't matter though he didn't miss a game cause of it I think haha
