when you call retentions, it changes your current plan, usually it takes you to renew, which would allow for u to obtain a better retention plan, but it is possible to obtain a retention plan without renewing and adding options to your current contract
btw I can confirm 611 extension 243 I believe gets you to retention just like the direct number
