Has anyone tried sticking in a Rogers sim card into an iPhone4 sent by fido and have it work?

I want to HUP to the iphone4 so I can give to the GF while i get the Galaxy s

lots of conflicting reports about it being fine with a fido simcard inside a rogers iphone but not vice versa.
