Anyone on RS playing Minecraft? I played a bit when it was free and I just haven't had time to start playing again. I'll probably buy it in the next couple of days though.
For those that don't know, Minecraft is a game (still in alpha) and it is just a HUGE sandbox. You can literally do whatever you want. I guess the learning curve is a bit steep since there is actually no tutorial in game (I think). You pretty much just start in your world and you don't really know wtf to do.
Once you get used to it, you can build amazing things. I see people playing around school, and a few people from my set play. They have HUGE mansions and castles and stuff. It's really a pretty amazing game, just takes a bit of time to get used to and a bit more time to actually build stuff that you want.
There are actual enemies in the game but they only come out at night. So you would need to stay sheltered and around light or else they will get you.
It's a really interesting game and it's definitely worth a shot. It's a lot of fun building whatever the heck you want.
There's also multiplayer which is exactly like single player except it's not just you building it's a whole bunch of other people too.
I think it's just one person developing and he's sold 465035 copies of the game and it's still in Alpha, but once you buy it you have access to all future iterations of the game. And its 50% off only €9.99($14ish CAD) during Alpha.
Maybe we can start an RS server or something if a few people play!
