Prostocks are usually "made better" with new technology. Ie S17 prostock is identical to S19 retail stock, they tested the S19 first as a S17 for the pros.
In easton's case, all pro stock are made in Mexico, all non pro stock are made in China. So if you buy a easton pro stock from the states and brings it over, its duty free due to the NAFTA.
