Granato was interviewed about her accomplishments and she said it was a long hard road. She talked about the time she got a concussion from a hard hit. Back then there was no girls hockey so she played with the boys. The boy who hit her apologized later and said, "I'm sorry for the hit, but my dad made me do it." Anyway, she didn't complain or whine about it. In the end, she's in the Hall of Fame, while that boy is probably working for Home Hardware shelving hockey tape.
