first of all, your family will continue to say shit, deal with it.
and wtf is with the moving back to the country, i guess us Canadians should move away since the natives were here first.
Some people still have deep passion in hating people, chinese people are chinks, brown people are this and that, japanese people are losers for invading China etc. these goes way back and we have to be really understanding it's something you might think it's nothing (since we are so multicultural here) but it still happens in different parts of town.
What if the OP was WHITE and the person they're seeing was CHINESE, what would you have to say? what would you say>
