not sure about you guys...if I make 100K a year, for sure I will find someone who makes about the same in a year, definitely not someone who makes 30-40K and she has already hit a dead end in her career.

At this moment, me and my gf makes about the same and that's a good motivation to compete with each other. Just like I got a decent salary raise this year, so she's now looking for a better job. and yeah, we have been doing this for 4 years, we are enjoying it.

it sucks if your SO needs to be financially sponsored all the time.
