Are you kidding me? 80k is more than the Canadian average income which is around 45 to 50k? (If I remember correctly.)

Either way, making 80k a year is more than enough to have a decent life WITH or without a girlfriend in Vancouver.

I think that you are looking at the wrong places to find a girlfriend.
