I dunno, I kinda agree with them in a small way. We're lucky to live where we do. But things are much different in the states. Young black kids don't have many role models, and I'm sure Kobe Bryant tops off the list for most of them. Now I don't think kids are gonna walk around with assault rifles (actually some of them do lol), but for a young person's mind it's probably better to see Kobe holding a book.

I don't fully agree with the article, but I can see their POV.
