the 5870 is still king of the hill right now in the $300 range but the 6870 is already giving the 5870 a run for its money and so is the 6850 to the 5850. the 6800 series consuming less power, producing less heat, having some newer features, and the 6850 having nice headroom for OC or factory OC. I'm assuming that once the 6900 series comes out next month all of the cards below it will drop a bit in price. especially the 5770 which might even reach the $100 range or below as a result.
