Maybe you can consider taking a self employed route?
Take a CGA exam
-Start up your own accounting sorta office and just help others file their taxes and other general accounting needs (Dad has a friend who does this and hes been relatively successful)
-Join as an agent part of an already existing accounting firm that does that sorta thing (Not sure if it works the same as real estate but its sorta like how a Realtor is part of a realty company)
That way you don't necessarily have to go and apply or interview for a job. But with self-employment you make money based on how hard your willing to work along with the networking you have. But since you do have some medical related problems doing something like this allows you to work at home or at an office and at your own pace rather than not working at all
