And one of the problems with discomfort is no one wants to fuck that either (well a select few do and hey if the OP falls into that category, go for it) particularly for girls that are extremely self conscious (and that is often the case with girls who don't have a lot of things that they wear just for the bed room). Like have you ever had sex with a girl who's more concerned about what you think about her thighs then getting off? Not sexy. Really. Or worse, one who really isn't into what is going on and is grudgingly humoring you? That's super not sexy.

So unless the thong is a deal breaker for the OP I would suggest he express his interest and then lay off it bring it up now and then but NO PRESSURE. If she does it of her own accord all will be much better for everyone involved.
