Well the first 2 dungeons you don't really need CC badly but it does help a lot. For the boss is more on the group cordinations rather than and spank. I heard for the later ones of you don't use CC you will wipe (doesn't matter how gear you are).
Honestly I like that, blizzard should make more trash that say hits tank for 50% hp or 75% hp. Of coz it will take say 3 sec to cast so either someone needs to interupt it or CC when there is a few of them in a pack.
