google "tribc". they have a classified section where triathletes are selling their bikes and other gear. just like any other hobby, there is a lot to learn about the gear and in this sport, the gear is VERY expensive. maybe even go to one of the triathlon shops, tri sports, speed theory, bike gallery and see if they have affiliations with any training groups or clubs.
Exactly the same advice i heard from another trainer. Therefore, this is worth checking out.
