I don't know if you guys remember or not, but in NHL 2006/2007, you were able to see your online opponents rank, record, reputation, country of origin, and connection strength. I was able to weed out playing those that had horrible rep (quits too often, cheats, scores only cheese goals) and those that had horrible ping time. Cheese goals were prevalent but at least i was able to defend them.

Then, they started removing those features one by one on each and every version that came out afterwards; first it was the ability to see your opponent's rank; then it was their record; then their connection strength. Now with NHL 11 you can't see SHIT - you can barely judge the connection quality by how laggy your button inputs are at the matchup screen.

EA - WHAT THE FUCK? why are you making this franchise worse and worse every year???? Why can't I have more say in how I want my online match ups be like? I'm sick of paying money every year for the same broken shit that EA pumps out...

Granted, it's good that they fixed the glitch-quitting and glitch goals, BUT, that is not to say that they don't exist, at far as glitch goals are concerned. TOO many times my goalie or computer-controlled players would do the DUMBEST shit, i.e. watching the puck as it lays 1 feet away from them, or like hotjoint said, moving out of position just before you take control of them, taking you out of the play. The number of WTF moments I've had with this game is higher than all of previous years combined - yes, it's THAT frustrating.

There's a good chance that this may be my last NHL game from EA... not that they care or anything, but whatever.
