Since the person lives in Canada (assuming he is smart enough to avoid WA).. Unless he has committed a horrendous crime, like killing a family ala Rafay and Burns.. What are your chances of really able to catch him and exact vengeance via US courts? Even if you get him in the civil court, there is probably not much left you can recoup. Or is the lawsuit just for the principle of it?
