a) In GT5 Gallery, press triangle on the picture you want, "export to XMB"... it'll ask you some questions blah blah blah...

then in the XMB you have two options:
a) use the PS3's card reader and transfer the file to an SD card or USB drive or whatever

or b) use the PS3 Photo Gallery's facebook uploading feature to upload to Facebook

done!
