Okay, those names suck, but you get my idea.
In my opinion, the fail button isn't really a "pessimistic calling them out on it" button. It's more of a joke and fun button for me. I find it hilarious when everyone jumps on a bandwagon and mass fail a post even if it wasn't fail worthy. Furthermore, we need some kind of downsides to balance all the thanked.
Now that with the fail button gone, ppl will just start calling the poster of a stupid post loser in full cap or something like that. Before it would just simply be a fail.
I'd rather purposely post marginally retarded posts and receive fails than to receive a big LOSER.
