I love how all these people are saying no don't buy one and they've probably never even driven one...
Ya they're bad on gas, and expensive to repair buttt.... they're super fun to drive, and you'll have a car that not many people have....
As for the auto ya they're slow i test drove several before I bought mine and my 2004 civic at the time felt faster and as for rebuild... rebuilds can be a horror show when you go to repair them... i owned a 2003 accord v6 coupe rebuild and had to replace the tranny at 80000km... the dealer told me to get lost because they don't do warrenty work on rebuilds and when i went to go replace the tranny with my own money I had to pay a welder to come in and do some frame work cause they couldn't even remove the tranny out of the it....
so as for auto and rebuild... well for 7k if you wanna take a risk and save 5-6000 bucks ya you can roll the dice
or you can look to spend 14-15k and get one that has same km but is manuel...
