When you buy yourself things, you shouldn't be thinking about what other people have or what other people may think. You buy things for you that you like! If you want to wear a $10 handbag, go for it. If you want to spend $10,000 on a handbag, go for it. No one should ever discourage you from doing what you want to do- especially with your own money.
But according to your statement, if I buy a $10 handbag that would = economy fails. WTF LOL
