How's the battery life on this thing with the GPS on? I'm going to Hawaii next week and I want to record GPS tracks for geotagging purposes. I typically used a WinMo phone in the past for this because I could get 12 hours of recording before I needed to change the battery...

I dug my iphone 4 out of the drawer, installed GPS Kit and so far, the battery is at 20% after 5 hours. No SIM card installed and wifi turned off. It's also not tracking me properly either, it keeps losing the gps signal even when I'm outside... I was hoping to just carry one device around but I might have to bring the trusty winmo phone with me just in case this doesn't work....

Anything else aside from GPS Kit that I could try? File output must be .GPX
