remember as well - just because the wireless standard supports a theoretical speed of 54, 300, etc - doesn't mean that you will get that speed. You can find comparisons of a lot of routers on the market - and they will usually post speeds that are attained - and using internal transfers, so it's got nothing to do with the internet. That's why there are cheap $30 N Routers, and $150 N routers. Usually the more expensive ones will have a lot more features, be dual band, but generally - the higher end ones will have a longer range, and faster throughput.
