We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to be involved in the development of our acute clinical software product.

- Design, develop and ultimately deliver software solutions reflective of the requirements and in alignment with committed schedules.

Job Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 or more years of software development experience and come from commercial software or other high-tech companies.
- Candidates with 5 or more years of C# is required.
- In-depth understanding of the .NET Framework and objected oriented design skills is required.
- Experience with C++, Java, or similar object oriented languages is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), WPF, WCF is desirable.
- Previous experience shipping Windows based products and exposure to commercial software development methodologies, and test driven development is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Able to adapt to a high-pressure but progressive and agile environment.

We are searching for a Software Product Designer who is creative and has a solid understanding of clinical processes (in particular those related to Pharmacy and Medication Management) to be involved in the product design of our clinical software product.

In this role, you will be exposed to all phases of the development process with focused responsibilities on the functional design of our Pharmacy solution including its integration with other components such as Order Entry and Knowledge Based Medication Administration.

Responsibilities include functional design of system solutions for presented business problems as they relate to pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, development of system requirements and functional specifications and business rules, as well as problem-solving of related workflow and application issues. In addition, you will be involved in conducting peer reviews in support of the design process, interviewing customers with regard to workflow details, assisting in the testing of product releases to validate against specifications, reviewing end-user documentation, training internal users (customer support, implementation, education services teams) on application features and working to set and meet project delivery dates.

Experience/Skills Required:

- Hospital pharmacy experience (pharmacist or tech);
- Pharmacy software installation or management;
- Clinical experience and/or software design expertise or a clinical software implementation background would also be acceptable;
- Bachelor degree in area of specialty;
- 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment;
- Self motivation;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong organization skills are required;
- MS-office skills (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint) are required;
- Basic programming skills (VB, C#) are desirable.
