actually the half life of tritium is 12.32 years meaning every 12.32 years the glow will be half as bright. It will last more than 25 years, but it will get fairly dull. the radio active energy of tritium can only penetrate 2mm too so it's okay, it aint leaving your watch. lol. nor can it penetrate your skin. just dont rub it on you or if it cracks dont inhale it.
