I think I've got the hang of carving, I hate steep shit and have a hard problem switching between heel and toe edge on there so tend to ride heel edge if I'm made to go down something steep... unless there's some good powder..
vangruver, i lol'd at that... i rarely fall from getting off the chair

but yes when I do I get out of the way as fast as possible, lol
my definition of beginner is that I can ride easier blues and trees that are a bit wider in between. I did do a black diamond on sat, but I think it was more of a blue run and there was powder so I wasn't afraid.
The reason I'm so afraid of steep shit is because when I was first learning I was going too fast and caught an edge. I ended up fucking up my tailbone(I could barely sit down or stand up for at least 4-6 weeks), ended up blacking out for a sec when my head smashed the ground too and had a mild concussion. I was in so much pain luckily someone saw me fall and came and unstrapped my bindings and I ended up getting a snow patrol stretcher to bring me to the bottom of the hill.
Steepness scares me for that reason cause I don't wanna get going too fast and end up hurting my tailbone again.
