Mechanical keyboards are different breed I'd say. You need to try using one before deciding on buying one as there are different types. I switched from Saitek Eclipse to Filco Majestouch with brown switches and I absolutely love it.
I always liked Logitech's keyboards over Razer's but I haven't tried the new Blackwidow. See if you find one you can try before you buy one.
