Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), the maker of the Blackberry smartphone, will be in focus during the session, as participants manage their positions ahead of its scheduled quarterly earnings report after the close. RIM is expected to report on average a profit of $1.75 per share on revenue of $5.63 billion. Last quarter, the company posted a 6% upside earnings surprise after reporting a profit of $1.74 per share. Research In Motion closed last session 4.41% above calculated support at $59.38, the stock faces resistance at $63.24.
