Of course there are rumors of the iPhone5 being delayed, possibly to 2012 (which would be the first time apple strayed away from it's summer releases) and if that's the case then yes, it would make sense to get the iPhone 4 now.

First of all Apple never made an official release on iPhone 5, its just bunch of rumours. IF iOS 5 will ever be debuted at the WWDC in early June, there is still no reason to assume that iOS 5 and the iPhone 5 will debut together. While it’s happened to line up that way with past iOS and iPhone generations,the OS IS also used for IPAD AND ITOUCH, it does not specify iPhone. iPHone 5 cud simply be debuted running iOS 4.5 or 4.6 or w/e instead of iOS 5 and it still would not deteriorate hardware sales...... we just can't know coz apple never made any official release date announcement.
its just the fact that ppl who say "oh im gna wait for iphone XX" never actually get it, they just say that. How many people hv you come across saying they will the get 4 when it was just 3gs, and right now 4 is out but they still havent gotten it , claiming they will get the 5?
