Gotta love good hockey memories.

Best memory from that series: we lived in an apartment building at Hastings and Kamloops, and usually watched the games at my neighbor's place - facing Hastings, second floor - so we'd lean out the windows cheering with the crowds going by.
Car and foot traffic moving down Hastings was especially loud until the light changed for the crossing traffic, and things would get quiet as everyone came to a stop... so the one night, after we beat Toronto, we're hanging out the windows, traffic stops, everything gets quiet... sitting at the light heading toward downtown is this little Chevette with a couple wearing Leafs jerseys and looking very dejected. The windows are down, so my buddy yells at them, "Hey! HEY!" - gets everyone looking up at him - points to the car with one arm... points east down Hastings with the other... and yells, "TORONTO'S BACK THAT WAY!"
Yeah, the street just went nuts... and mercifully for the Leafs fans, the light changed and they booked it down the street
