Yeah it's a nasty one. What I used to do is go outside business hours, then ask to leave your current job early, or start a bit later in the morning. Most employers (the ones you're applying for) understand that you're trying to interview without screwing over your current job. I've ever only had 1 where HR were a bunch of pricks with a "we have a slot at 2pm, take it or leave it" mentality.
