SURREY (NEWS1130) -If you were in the area of 128th Street and 68th Avenue in Surrey just before 11 last night, homocide investigators want to talk to you, especially if you noticed a white SUV driving erratically.

Police are trying to find the killer responsible for a deadly shooting last night.
Corporal Dale Carr with IHIT says the 30-year-old man was hit during a confrontation with a driver after a minor car crash. "The Ford Explorer apparently crossed the centre line and came into contact with a Lexus. That's when the driver of the Lexus stopped, exited, and went over to confront the driver of the SUV."

The victim is a 30-year-old Surrey man who police say got out of his Lexus to confront the driver of a white SUV after a minor car crash. That's when he was shot, perhaps several times. A witness tells News1130 he heard at least six shots just after 11 p.m..
Paramedics were seen providing CPR to the victim. Carr tells us the man was pronounced dead when he was taken to hospital.

The man police are looking for sped away from the scene. "The driver is described as a South Asian male -- very general description -- driving a white SUV, thought to be a Ford Explorer, with a silver trim along the bottom of the vehicle," explains Carr.

He can't yet say if there's any connection -- gang or otherwise -- between the drivers of the two high-end vehicles, or if this is a disturbing case of road rage.
