Game 1 could have been 5-0, and this game could have been 0-5.
both goalies stood on their heads in each of thier losing games. The canucks did a great job game 1, but game 2, we both had equal oppurtunities to end it in 60 mins.
Yes we should have gotten an extra goal to secure our lead, but honestly, do you think we just gave up after 1 goal? we worked our asses off and so did luongo for almost 100 minutes.
We didnt make stupid plays and sacrificed odd man rushes, we tried to play conservative and take less risks near the end, while trying to jam in the security goal.. but a bad angle shot from behind the net let 58 mins of hard work get wiped clean and start fresh in sudden death.
regardless of that 1 goal, you can see Luongo playing with his heart and all the intensity that is expected of a 10 million$ goalie/player.
