That's why I went with the Sony. I charge it up once or twice a week and that's it. It's black and white but in all honesty that's better on my eyes for reading since I'm in front of a comp all day already. When I am traveling I never have to worry about it losing it's charge half way through a flight or anything crazy like that either.
Jsunu, I would totally recommend going down to future shop and to Chapters and playing with some of the demo ones they have set up, see what's comfortable for you. For example my sister doesn't like mine cause it's heavy (since it's metal frame) but I hate her Kobo cause I find it flimsy (cause it's plastic) and doesn't feel as much like a book in my hand.
Different quarks like that will change how you feel about it, and especially if you read a lot, that is important.
Also important is what kind of media do you want to get on it? Only books? Do you want to be able to read PDFs? Do you want to be able to subscribe to digital news papers? That sort of stuff will impact your choice too.
