All quite true.
One of my biggest beefs about this whole series is that Nashville plays a depressingly boring style of hockey. They have almost no offensive skill, so their game is predicated on capitalizing on a turnover or banking goals off skates and brainfarting defensemen, rather than trying to create.
I "hated" seeing Sharp and Kane skating into the zone with the puck krazy-glued to their sticks in the Chi series but you knew they would try to match skill with skill, not try to put you to sleep like the Preds do. It's not at all entertaining. It may work, but it's the kind of shit that killed the game in the early 2000s.
