Nah. The black one reminds me of Chicago Blackhawks more than anything.
The white one... yellow logo just isn't strong enough.

is ugly in my opinon. I personally don't like that logo very much.
I loved this logo, but it never happened. Don't even know if it's a concept or what, or who designed it. But it's awesome!
But this one is probably the best Canuck logo ever.
