Uh...metallic anything is only okay in small doses. Metallic shirt says Michael Jackson right after he went a little crazy and started dangling children out of his hotel.

One of the most common things I see in grad photos these days is kids trying to look like they're in Scarface. Stop that shit. It didn't look good in Miami in the '70s and it doesn't look good now.
Telling you this shit from experience! I wore a metallic grey shirt once and now looking back, I just facepalm.
Think simple, elegant and classic. Your girl will probably be more impressed that you have grown up taste in clothes than looking like you're in a rap video.
Matching is a little weird, BTW. When you see the couples at the mall wearing the same shirt, don't you feel a little bad for that dude?
