I second that. Prom isn't all about getting chicks and asking girls out or going as a couple to dance. It can be a time to get together with your best friends and just have a good time together while you guys graduate, which could end up not even seeing each other again.
If you really want to ask a girl to dance, there is still time at the dance to ask. Oh man high school were the times....I wish I was young forever
