I think Ballard's speed and good skating is his own downfall.
He's way too confident with the puck and holds it longer than necessary and circles back all the time... Then loses it due to Boston's aggressive forechek.
He hasn't been all that great in the post season at all. I still rememeber that own goal
where he tried to catch a puck in the air and deflected it into the net in the SJS series...
just horrible.
