in my case the damage to the bumper was minor so it would makes sense for me to pay for me to pay for his damages instead of letting my premium go up. ICBC will give you a choice to either pay for his damages yourself and ur premium stays the same or let icbc pay and ur premium goes up so depending on how much they quote you, you may want to just pay out the damage and your car will not get fix or again pay for it yourself, which was what i did.
