With Dan Hamuis having surgery he may not be ready for the start of training camp. That is exactly what happened to Ballard this year. He didn't get to train in the off-season and it showed all season. I hope this doesn't happen to Hamhuis, but I think he will have a real slow start in the beginning of the season.
Ballard on the other hand, with no injuries will go into training camp healthy and ready to go, and I think he will compete for a top 4 dman position.
I wonder what kind of top 6 forward Gillis is looking for to play with Kesler. It would be nice to get a bigger guy with hands (don't grow on trees though).
