just that when i went to the Local show's like new years eve @ pne I couldn't believe the craptastic female vocal's that were spinning that night, worse f'in selection's of music by far,it killed the moment for me,Really made me think wtf are they paying these dj's for if i can spin way the hell better music then them,& they made BC's so called rave "scene" look amateur if they couldn't even play the latest trance,Guess we gotta rely on Armin & the rest of them if we want to...Pfft.

when your warming up for the main room headliners, you can't play "the latest trance". i mean hell if you do that, what are the headliners going to play. they have to play older tunes/not so well known tunes to please the crowd as well as please the headliners that are playing the event. music selection by local dj's is fine in my mind as long as the crowd is pleased.
i can't blame solid for putting in hardstyle acts either since its what half the crowd wants. they are trying to make everyone in vancouver happy by doing it. your going to step on some toes if you either take out trance acts or hardstyle acts. i think they found the perfect balance seeing as they throw on the hardstyle at the end of the shows so the trance aficionados get what they want and can leave or goto the other rooms.
