if you can watch it in Imax go for that if not go for avx simply for the larger screen, surround sound, and i think Brighter screen
3D movies have an issue of being dark because the theatres dont amp up the brightness especially in Imax
Michael Bay issued a letter to theatres asking them to up the brightness etc for Transformers yada yada
