When I go hiking I hate carrying stuff. I also don't own an ND filter yet.

You can only do this on a low light/cloudy day. Set up a rock and lay your camera onto it. Use lowest ISO (for me it's ISO100). I stopped the lens down to the maximum, f22, and this combination allowed me a 4-5sec exposure.
