Er, I guess "waste" is the wrong word, perhaps "overkill"? Don't get me wrong, I used to get wax laces as well, but then I found using "hand-me- downs" wax laces from my ice skates and reverse lacing does the job the same. But I do concur on the adding grip part.

Are they single? When I'm inbetween gf's, I had more money to spend on hockey and more time to play on several teams..lol.
