hahah thanks.. I haven't worn that jersey in ages.. but we won when I wore it last game, so I thought I might as well keep wearing it.. That, and if we happen to use a red or similar to red puck, it makes it a bitch for the refs/players to know where the puck is.
TBH, the powerplays were ridiculous. Even though I am sure most of the stick infraction penalties were justified, that is where the 4 mins penalties can really eff you over. A high stick, imo, should be up to the ref to call it a 4 or 2 in terms of whether it was deliberate or whether it was out of control use by the player.
As for slashes, those are tough, but in playoff games, unless they are slashes to the back of the leg or wrists/hands it should be game... slashes to sticks should also be up to the ref to call it a 2 or 4. The last 4 mins slash against your team, should have been let go, imo. It was in the defensive zone and looked like all stick, with 1 min to go. But hey, I am not a ref.
Lastly, your goalie had a really tough second half with the point shots lol.. I couldn't believe my eyes at the shots that were going in!
