No one has a chain stitch machine in vancouver, you'll have to send it out and I don't think its worth it to do that. Chain stitch kind of makes it special and it'll fade nicer.
I'm the same height as you and have a 35 inch inseam too and I let it stack.. check out the pics a page back. The honeycombs or creases behind your knee will bring up the inseam a bit too. Give it a few days of wear and let the stacks settle before you decide to hem it. Or try stack and cuff? Haha if you really can't stand the look then just hem I guess.
